Booking and contact by destination

There's one central number for all destinations. The table below shows the recommended way to book or reach us depending on where you're headed, since some routes need a bit more lead time than others.

DestinationBest way to bookLead time recommended
Nyali, Bamburi, Shanzu, MtwapaWhatsApp or onlineSame day usually fine
KilifiWhatsApp or onlineA few hours in advance
Diani Beach / UkundaOnline booking or WhatsAppDay before recommended
WatamuOnline booking or WhatsAppDay before recommended

Pro-Tip: When messaging on WhatsApp, include your train number, arrival time, destination, number of passengers, and any luggage notes. It saves a round of back-and-forth and gets your driver assigned faster.

If you've arrived at Miritini and can't find your driver

Your booking confirmation includes your driver's direct phone number. That's the first call to make. If for any reason that doesn't connect, call or WhatsApp the main number above and someone will locate your driver or arrange an immediate replacement. This rarely happens but it's good to know.

The SGR Shuttle Mombasa meeting point is at the arrivals gate, ground level, to the right as you exit the terminal building. Look for the sign with your name. If the crowd is thick on a busy morning, move past the first wave of people to the marked shuttle area and you'll find your driver there.

Corporate accounts and large groups

If you're coordinating regular transfers for staff, hotel guests, or tour groups using the SGR, we run corporate accounts with consolidated invoicing and priority booking. Vehicle options go up to 7, 10, 11, 16, 22, and 28 seaters for larger groups, bookable on request. Email or WhatsApp with the group size, frequency, and destinations and we'll put together a quote.

Yes, WhatsApp is one of the main ways people book with us. Send your train number, arrival time, destination, and number of passengers and we'll confirm your driver details by return message.

Your booking confirmation includes your driver's direct number. Call them first. If that doesn't connect, reach the main line immediately and we'll sort it. The meeting point is at the arrivals gate to the right as you exit, marked with signs.
